Colour: Intense, deep red

Nose: Complex savoury aromas of cigar box, dark cherry and fine French oak.

Palate: Full, sweet front palate of great fruit intensity, mid-palate is richly textual with great weight and elegance. Ripe berry fruits and fine grained tannins have a suppleness and smooth lingering essence.

2001:

Colour: Deep, intense red

Nose: Sweet ripe, red-berry fruits with underlying aromas of oak

Palate: A rich, full-bodied palate and following the nose precisely to along, clean balanced finish with ample yet unobtrusive, silky tannins.
