Palate: The sensations follow one after another closely, with rhythm, precision and intensity. The initial density evolves into a creamy amplitude. Its finesse draws out and takes off on a sappy note. With hints of grapefruit, cherry plums and dried fruits.
Nose: The first hints of dried herbs rapidly give way to candied grapefruit and cinnamon. This is rounded off with notes of biscuit and raisin.
1993 Harvest: A vintage characterised by its precocity. Despite very average temperatures, the summer was remarkable both for its amount of sunshine and the drought which lasted until the harvest began.
Interesting facts: The Oenotheque label indicates that a Dom Perignon vintage has reached its second peak in maturity with optimised intensity (15-20 years), or its third peak with optimised complexity (after 30 years on the lees).
